Maximum Overdrive Tournament

Official Rules

These rules govern the structure of competition and the play of matches for Maximum Overdrive tournaments.

Any rule questions or clarifications will be directed to a League Organizer.

This tournament is a single elimination bracket for Level 12 Classes using the Double Health setting in the Hero Realms Digital App. Double Health Game Setup
All games will be played with the Base, Call to Arms, and Dungeons cards (BCD).
Participants with beta access will send challenges to participants without beta access.
In the event that two participants are matched without beta access, they will continue with the base set only.
Participants must win a best of 3 match to progress to the next round.
Once a participant has used a hero class in a match, they cannot play another game using that hero class (this resets for each match).
Participants are not allowed to select the Alchemist nor the Barbarian as one of their hero classes in this event.

A Match is a set of three asynchronous games
The winner of the match wins two asynchronous games.
Once a single participant wins two asynchronous games, a third game does not need to be played.
Matches are to be finished within 7 days
If this is going to be a problem, contact the tournament organizer.
Players will use a different class for each game within a match.
Alchemist and Barbarian hero classes are not allowed in this event.
Challenges will be sent blind.
Upon completion of a match, the winner of that match should report the result in Challonge as soon as possible.
